Natuurlijk bent u al jaren gewend uw bankzaken via internet te regelen en ook het doen van de belastingaangifte via de computer is voor u gesneden koek. Sinds kort heeft het Nationaal Instituut voor Budgetvoorlichting (Nibud) een nieuw en geavanceerd digitaal huishoudboekje op de markt: Nibud Cashflow Manager. Met dit pakket kunt u een goed inzicht krijgen in uw inkomsten en uitgavenpatroon.

Of course we are now well accustomed to online banking and sending tax returns via computer. Recently, the National Institute for Budget Information (NIBUD) has released a new and advanced accounting system: Nibud Cashflow Manager. This package gives quick and easy insight into personal finances.

U kunt snel aan de slag met het pakket door de transactiegegevens van uw bank direct te importeren. Het pakket ondersteunt een flink aantal banken: ABN Amro, Fortis, ING, Van Lanschot, Rabobank, SNS Bank, Friesland Bank, Fortis België, Dexia Direct België, Argenta België.  Postbank (nu ING) en DSB worden ook nog ondersteund door het pakket.
Het importeren gaat redelijk goed. Binnen het pakket wordt een webbrowser opgestart waarin u direct bij uw bank kunt inloggen. Wij proberen ING. Met behulp van een duidelijk stappenplan in de vorm van een tekst op uw scherm leidt het pakket u door de noodzakelijke acties om uw bankgegevens te exporteren, te downloaden en in te lezen in het pakket.

Aan de hand van een uitgebreide filterset analyseert het pakket deze geïmporteerde banktransacties en voegt ze toe aan hoofd- en subrubrieken als Huishouden, Sparen en Lenen, Vervoer, Wonen en Uitgaan. Ondanks dat alle transacties niet automatisch worden gerubriceerd, is deze functie een zeer krachtig hulpmiddel dat nogal wat handmatig invoerwerk bespaart. De gebruikte filterset kunt u aanpassen en u kunt eenvoudig nieuwe filterregels toevoegen. Rubrieken en subrubrieken zijn vrijelijk toe te voegen en aan te passen. Op deze manier kunt u het pakket volledig naar uw hand zetten en personaliseren naar uw bankgegevens. De velden in de transactielijst die alsnog leeg blijven, kunt u met de hand invullen.

You start using the software by directly importing the transaction data from your bank. The software supports a large number of banks: ABN Amro, Fortis, ING, Van Lanschot, Rabobank, SNS Bank, Friesland Bank, Fortis België, Dexia Direct België, Argenta België. Even Postbank (now ING) and DSB ar still supported.

Importing is simple. The software contains a web-browser which will log in directly to your bank. We try ING. You read on your screen which steps to take to export the banktransactions, to download to your PC and import them in the Cashflow Manager.

Using an extensive set of filters the software analyzes the imported transactions and distributes them in Main and Sub categories as Household, Savings&Loans, Transportation, Housing  and Leisure. Although not all transactions will be automatically calssified, the software is very powerful and saves you a lot of manual input. Parameters ca be changed and you can easili add new filtering rules. Main categories and subcategories can be freely added and adapted. Whhich allows for complete personalization based on ones own banking patterns.
