History

Invers as a company has not a great name recognition. But Invers products are well known and widely used. This is a deliberate choice of the company. We do not focus on just one product but  develop concepts with well defined product/market combinations.

The early phase

Invers was founded in 1992, becoming fully active by 1994. In the first years of its existence. the company focuses on developing simple but high quality software for the Dutch consumer CD-ROM market, under the label Easy-Disc creating an assortment of 40 different titles. Financial and print programs, horoscope software, et al. Invers software is sold by all the major retail chains in the Netherlands and Belgium. At it's height the Easy-Disc CD-ROM market reached sales of over 100,000 units p.a., through 2000 outlets.

The innovation phase

In 2001 software sales shift from retail to online shops. Looking for new ideas and markets, in early 2003 the company introduces "Bankingtools", financial software that is sold online directly to consumers. Partly because of the 'free trial" concept, this is a direct sales success. These days all banks see the value of Bankingtools, due to Internet banking's fast expansion. Offering full support to this new concept and recommending it to their clients who need to switch from offline Telebanking to online Internet banking. Bankingtools is rapidly becoming the dominant resource for this type of software on the market.

Invers also produces Imaging software. Software with web integration, for the production of photo books, photo albums and other photo products. Since 2003 licensing the software i.g. to manufacturers of traditional photo albums.  In 2005 Invers launches its own brand Phototools. Originally to gain deeper understanding of  products and markets. Allowing us to better serve our licensees. Our new brand Phototools is rapidly growing to be a leading and succesfull photo album printing service. Through active marketing and market research Phototools has quickly achieved a large and growing customer base.

The financial specialist

At the end of 2007 Invers takes over the website "kasboek.nl".  We consider building an online accountingsystem for consumers and gaining insight and experience in this important market. Kasboek (meaning Account Book) has been active for several years and has a large user group.

 

The success of Phototools does not go unnoticed. Manufacturers of digital photo albums show interest in the Imaging software and the label itself.

In late 2008 Invers sells the label Phototools. The development of the Imaging software becomes a separate business unit. Allowing both productlines (financial and imaging) to receive full and separate attention.

In 2009 Invers introduces Cashflow Online, a platform for consumer financial overview. Cashflow Online helps consumers to become financially secure and healthy. Visitors to this site are able to Visualize, Analyze, Compare and Learn:  the 4 keywords of the platform.

Also in 2009 Invers and NIBUD start cooperating.

Together with NIBUD (the leading organization in the area of budget management) Invers develops new financial products. Combining expertise creating even more powerful products.

 

Now in 2010 Invers offers a strong palette of financial products to consumers. Software, websites, web-services, informationservices and more. Offering products in differing markets gives Invers a financially sound base. There are hundreds of thousands of Invers customers and that number grows daily...
